The drive from Tarangire to Serengeti was about 7 hours, so we stopped along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is a massive caldera with Tanzania’s only rhino population, which we didn’t see because we merely drove around the rim. We also stopped at a Masai village and did a short tour. Their homes are not permanent, rather they move around to allow their livestock to feed on available grasses.

“Out of Africa!”
I’m going to watch that on the ride home!
