It’s honestly kind of a hassle to have three floors. Like, what if we want to take breakfast on the sala? Or what if we want to use the pool but need to hear the doorbell for the turndown service? These waterfalls are kind of loud.

We finally got to see Alex! Meeting her at the Shanghai airport, flying to Bangkok, staying up until 5am drinking tea and eating cookies, and lounging by the pool that same morning was as surreal and incredible as you can imagine. And finally some Pad Thai! The room was very simple and chic with a huge bathroom. The pool was lovely if a bit cold for obvious reasons. We’ll actually be back in a week for our dinner at Nahm.
