Longjing Temple

One of our last activities in Hangzhou was a visit to Longjing Temple. It was our first glimpse of Buddhist monks and yet another gorgeous site that in retrospect feels like we would have missed out had we not made the trek (a $3 cab ride and lots of stares).

Hangzhou Night 1 (Christmas)

The train from Shanghai to Hangzhou was pretty seamless with none of the crazies we’re used to at a place like Penn Station. Not much to see out the window besides sporadic McMansion clusters of neighborhoods and, more frequently, low income housing.
