Burunge Safari Camp

image

This was our second night and our first tent. I would describe it as glamping. Three comfy beds with nets, a mostly real bathroom with some hot water, and a lovely balcony with views of
Lake Burunge. The central lodge has an infinity pool, the restaurant and bar, plus WiFi and charging station. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. For lunch we were allowed to pack a box from a selection of foods. Oh, and free gin and tonic at sunset. AKA, a “sundowner.” At night we heard hyenas and saw two dikdiks, which are the world’s smallest antelope. I tried to pet them, but for some reason that was not cool with them.
