This trip was originally supposed to end on August 8th, and we’d fly back late that night. Later, we realized it made the most sense to add a final night, and for that final night to be in Stone Town. There were two major reasons:

1. We knew we wanted to see Stone Town (Zanzibar’s historic harbor capital), but that would have meant 2 hours roundtrip in a car with time taken out of the beach days.
2. The airport being an hour from Z Hotel, we’d be leaving plenty early on last day just to get there. Staying in Stone Town meant our plane was only 15 minutes way.

So here we are, our final night…one last hurrah!
